Born and raised in Vermont (where he currently resides) Nicks love for art started at an early age. Excelling in his high school art classes he later went onto college in pursuit of a degree in Fine Arts.

College was his first exposure to design and digital illustration. With a profound hatred for computer art and the “button clickers” (as he referred to these computer artists) he turned his nose up to them and remained steadfast on his pursuit of the Fine arts. Years later however with more exposure to this new age art form he gradually found an interest in the thing he once hated. Though he enjoyed the idea of image and text manipulation it wasn't something he felt he could really call his own. Nick later stumbled upon what would soon be his niche, “Illustrative Design”.

With a sketch pad, scanner and Adobe Illustrator at his finger-tips he spends many late nights working on his craft. Along the way he started up his own business “Mohawk Design Studio” which was created to combine his love for punk music and the art that represents it so well.
